Implantology Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment

Program 1

The focus of Implantology is on patient treatment and management. The curriculum is comprehensive and clinically oriented, with an emphasis on treatment planning using Cone Beam technology for optimized surgical and prosthetic planning. Participants will have hands-on experience in patient treatment, improving their skills in extractions, bone and soft-tissue regeneration, and implant placement to support various types of fixture-assisted dental restorations, including screw-retained, cemented, and removable restorations.


Dr. Jason Kim, Dr. Zack Papadapolis and Dr. Elias Pimentel, as faculties of the NYU College Of Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction (FMR): A Periodontal and Prosthetic approach to comprehensive patient treatment program, our 4 days course in the Dominican Republic at the Universidad Odontologica Dominicana is recommended and advised to participants and to all clinician that are already enroll or planning to enroll at the NYU college of dentistry two (2) years Implantolgy: Surgical and Prosthetic treatment program at the NYU college of dentistry at the Linhart continuing dental education program.



During the two years, participants will work on four surgical implant cases as well as prosthetic cases. Additional surgical cases will be assigned if available. Participants are also encouraged to bring in their own patients for treatment under faculty supervision, which will be in addition to the cases we provide. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance of 200 hours per year (total of 400 hours). The course also fulfills ICOI Fellowship requirements, and the Continuing Education (CE) hours can be applied towards AGD Fellowship and Mastership Track Award requirements.
