Advanced Live-Patient Implant Training

Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic Treatment is a 2-year, part-time course designed for US-licensed dentists who wish to enhance their clinical skills in prosthetically driven implant dentistry. It meets one day a week, 35 sessions per year. The course also offers an observation option open to both US and internationally-trained dentists.

 

This unique live-patient treatment course provides dentists with the knowledge and skills to place and restore implants. The highly interactive format is centered around live patient treatment, hands-on training, faculty mentorship, case presentations, and didactic study. Learn to perform all phases of implant therapy effectively, efficiently, and with long-term predictable success.


Clinical Topics and Training: Case selection, comprehensive diagnosis, and treatment planning:
• Cone Beam Software utilization for evaluation and treatment planning
• Surgical atraumatic extractions
• Resorbable and non- resorbable membrane usage
• Socket grafting and bone preservation techniques
• Incision, flap design, and suturing techniques
• Prosthetic materials selection and delivery • Implant-supported prostheses, fixed and removable
